What about data, hosting and human oversight?

These are discussed during scoping. We agree the information the solution needs, who can access it, any hosting or data location requirements, and where human review is needed before implementation.

How are projects priced?

We prepare a proposal after understanding the requirements. Bespoke development, product licences, integrations and ongoing support are scoped so you can see what is included before proceeding.

Who we are

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form we receive your name, work email address, organisation, sector, product interest and message. When you email or phone us, we receive the details you choose to share. This website uses no advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical access logs to deliver and secure the website.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss the services you ask about, prepare proposals and keep a record of our business correspondence. We process it because you asked us to contact you. Providing it is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who receives it

Jontinix staff and the service providers who work on our instructions: Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to hello@jontinix.com, our email provider and our website host. We do not sell personal information.

Processing outside South Africa

Web3Forms and some of our service providers process information outside South Africa. By sending the enquiry form you agree to this transfer. You can email us instead if you prefer. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep the records our agreement and the law require.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. Contact our Information Officer at hello@jontinix.com or at our registered office.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
